Week 3

April 18- 22

i have just finished a book called Dreamland written by Sarah Dessen. The person who plays a major role in this book is Catlin O'Koren. Catlin is a very corky bubbly person, She is on the cheer leading squad. She is also a very fun person. Although she is quite at school she \has a best-friend named Rina. Rina is her total opposite.

Catlin has a pretty average to great life she is currently in high school. She is not a geek but she passes class. Shes your normal teen body. Except she has pretty long hair and a pretty face. Her parents aren't that wealthy ,but they have money. Also just turned 16 and joined the cheer leading squad. Overall Catlin is a very good kid, until the day she met rogerson. Her boyfriend Rogerson, got her into drinking and smoking. I think this is a very interesting book and that Catlin plays a big part in this book called Dreamland.

 Dreamland is a very intresting book so far. In the book im on page 130. Ive met quite a few charters and they have had quite a few adventures so far in the book.


The back of the book is not that very interesting it only gives particle details. but i manged to make an alternate title and catch phrase.

Alternate Title: Wonders and Dreams (catch phrase: A reality story of a girl finding trouble)
Alternate Title#2: Run from...... (catch phrase: Everybody's running and only ones left is Catlin)


Creating the movie poster it would be a very pretty sky blue. On the top it would have white blueish clouds. Connected to the cloud would be a swing. On the swing Catlin would be sitting on the swing. At the bottom of the poster would be houses and bright green grass. With stars on the clouds.

 I'm reading Dreamland By:Sarah Dessen. The publisher is Penguin Group. It was published in the year 2000.The genre is Realistic fiction. The I know that because of the first paragraph of the book its something that could be capable to happen in  real life, like running away. The cover of this book is blue and clam. Its has a harbor , with a girl looking at the water surrounding her. The first charter and main character is a girl named Catlin, I met her in page 1. Next was her sister Cassandra but goes by Cass i met her on page 3 when she runaway. I met their mother on page 5 because she was crying about Cass running away. I met there dad when he was crying along side with his wife on page 5. I met there neighbors on page 7 when they came to say happy birthday to Catlin I met Rogeson catlins boyfriend on page 50 when Catlin met her at party. I think what made me continue reading this book is that its very interesting with a lot of wonderful details.
